Safeline will be delivering Parent Workshops online via Zoom.
These workshops consist of 3 evening sessions which will take place once a week on Monday 6th March 2023, Monday 13 th March 2023 and Monday 20th March 2023.
These sessions will always begin at 5:00pm and end at 6:00pm.
The first session is based on Internet Safety which includes the following outcomes:
Providing knowledge around social media apps/privacy settings, knowledge around online grooming – the risks and dangers, a deeper understanding of Cyberbullying and how to respond to it and understanding the risks behind Online Gaming.
The second session will be about Mental Health and Welfare issues, which will provide an understanding of what Mental Health is, allow you to gain a better knowledge of what can affect childrenās mental health, how to best support children if they are suffering with Mental Health Issues and any useful
apps/websites for external support.
The final session will be based on Bullying and Sexual Harassment in schools. This session discusses how to recognise the signs of bullying/sexual harassment, how to support your young person through it and how to report it.
Zoom is available to all and can be accessed on different devices such as, mobile phones (With a camera and internet), iPad, tablets, and laptop/computers. All you must do is enter the Zoom website: zoom.us,
