>> EXAMS & PERFORMANCE

Exams

We are continually updating the information regarding our examinations. We offer a wide range of courses and are always looking to support the aspirations and interests of our students.

Performance

Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government has said you should not make direct comparisons between the performance data for one school or college and another, or to data from previous years.

To see full details of our exam results across KS4 and KS5 please visit Nicholas Chamberlaine Schoolā€™s page on the governmentā€™s performance table website, accessible here.

For a summary of our KS4 and KS5 Results please see the documents below.

Ofsted

We wanted to share with families some of the positive progress that the Inspector observed in our latest Ofsted visit:

  • Leaders are ambitious for all pupils and work tirelessly to this end. They want each pupil to be the very best they can be.
  • This ambition has been at the centre of their work to improve the school.
  • Trust leaders share this ambition and provide leaders with effective support and challenge.
  • Leaders have worked with purpose to improve the quality of education.
  • Leadersā€™ determination to improve the quality of education has been supported effectively by the trust.
  • Leaders have focused on ensuring that pupils with SEND get the help and support they need.
  • Leaders have continued to prioritise reading. Leaders have done much to increase the range and volume of pupilsā€™ reading. This is building a culture where pupils read widely and often.
  • Trust leaders have been outward-looking in seeking external support to help improve the school.
