Now all of our students have had some time to catch up on some well-deserved sleep, we would like to thank them all for their participation and dedication to Matilda the Musical.
The ensemble students sang their hearts out for all four shows and the dancers amazed us all with their incredible routines.
The wormwoods (and Rudolpho) made us laugh with their âbackwardsâ way of thinking and our named students gave us so much passion and energy.
During the audition process, it became apparent that we had so much strong talent that we couldnât decide who to cast in our lead roles. We decided on two main casts- each performing alternate shows (to understandably give them time to recover after each show).
Our two Miss Honeys (Poppy and Evi) sang beautifully and demonstrated to us all that hard work, kindness and patience runs through them both, not just the character.
We were all amazed by the strong presence of both of our Miss Trunchbulls; Zach and Ollie were perfect casting and encapsulated the role in each performance to the highest of standards.
When Maddie and Lacey auditioned for the role, we knew we had some serious talent on our hands. Both Matildaâs worked incredibly hard and astounded us with the quality of their voices and acting.
