Yesterday was the first rehearsal of the Nicholas Chamberlaine School Symphony Orchestra. Pupils from year 7 – 11 who had taken part in the project came together to make music for a morning and a then delivered a lunchtime concert where we took part in the MiSST – Music in Secondary Schools Trust Jingle Bells challenge!
Every child in year 7-9 learns a musical instrument in collaboration with Warwickshire Music as part of the Music in Secondary Schools Trust (MiSST) project which aims to support pupils resilience, problem solving and confidence through learning a musical instrument. It is a project that we are proud to be a part of.
More performances from the Orchestra coming in February and March so watch this space!
